ElectriHelp connects customers with independent electrical contractors. Use the guided website questions to prepare a private request, review the summary and approve invitations. ChatGPT is an optional early access route for accounts with the ElectriHelp plugin. Contractor recruitment is open across the US and Canada; current customer coverage is Southwestern Ontario, excluding Toronto. Matching depends on approved contractors serving the requested area; coverage and responses are not guaranteed.
Your request and conversations
Your original request and contact information stay private to your account and authorized ElectriHelp administration. You approve the summary before inviting up to three matched network contractors. Their business names appear when they provide a quote or site-visit proposal; names are hidden while waiting and for declines. Each message thread is limited to you and its invited contractor. Photos you explicitly approve for sharing can be viewed by invited contractors. Avoid including faces, names, addresses, payment details or other private information in shared text or photos.
When you select a contractor, your saved name, email and phone are released to that business. Selection is not a booking, signed construction contract or payment. Agree final scope, scheduling and payment directly with the business. This service does not provide emergency dispatch.
What happens after you apply
Your application is saved privately to your account and placed in the ElectriHelp owner’s review list. Choosing “contractor” when signing up does not approve your business. ElectriHelp reviews business authority, credentials, insurance and service geography before activation. Approved businesses start with new requests paused.
Joining or being approved does not guarantee jobs, referrals, quotes or appointments. You remain responsible for the work you agree to undertake and for meeting the requirements of each jurisdiction. No payment is collected through this registration flow.
Fees, drafts and billing records
No signup, subscription or upfront lead fees. After you accept the fee terms, new platform jobs carry a 2% success fee on the final pre-tax amount, including labour, materials and changes to that job, once the work is complete and you have been paid. Unrelated future work is excluded. Canadian jobs use CAD and US jobs use USD. Verified fees are tallied monthly and due by the end of the following month in Toronto time. Overdue undisputed balances pause new invitations; existing jobs and account access remain available. Refunds and disputes are reviewed. Full fee terms.
Application drafts are saved privately to your account only when you choose Save draft. Billing records include accepted terms, settlement reports, statements, verified payments and adjustments. Card details, when checkout is activated, are handled by Stripe rather than stored by ElectriHelp.
Using ChatGPT
The ChatGPT connection page lets you link your own ElectriHelp account when the plugin is available to you. Connected tools use the same account permissions as this website. Information returned by the tools becomes part of your ChatGPT conversation and is handled under your OpenAI account settings and terms. You can disconnect ElectriHelp on the connection page; disconnecting does not delete existing requests or conversations. Contractor approval remains a separate owner review.
You can check quotes and messages in ChatGPT or in your account. Transactional email alerts accompany requests, replies and account updates when delivery is active; check your account for the current record. Saving a request does not guarantee a notification, response, price or appointment.
Information used for your application
ElectriHelp Inc. collects your account email, business and contact details, service-base address, work preferences, service area, and the credential and insurance information you enter. These details support account access, application review, communication and future matching. Your service-base street address is not a public listing.
Pending application details are available to your authenticated account and authorized ElectriHelp administration, not other applicants. Records are stored using Supabase; the backend is hosted on Render. Supabase and Resend support account verification and recovery emails. Resend also delivers transactional job, application and billing notices. Failed deliveries are tracked and bounced or complaining recipients are suppressed.
Please do not submit identification documents, payment information, customer information or other sensitive documents in application text fields. Use credential type, issuing authority, number and expiry where applicable. Insurance and optional licence evidence can be submitted through the private application upload fields.
Testing, corrections and questions
If you are helping test, clearly label the business “TEST — NOT A REAL CONTRACTOR” and describe credentials as test data. Do not submit or approve fictional credentials as genuine.
